A French Aubusson rustic tapestry panel from the late 19th century, featuring a scene in which a young man holds up the game he has caught in his hunt to his eager hound, as his damsel sits beneath a tree at left and looks on; with an acanthus plant by the brook in the foreground, and a cottage and trees in the distance.  Enclosed by a symmetrical border with a distinguishing acanthus leaf motif.  Wool with silk inlay.

Hanging: The tapestry comes ready for hanging, with linen backing and a strip of hook and loop tape at the top end, which can be connected to the opposite side of the supplied hook and loop tape, which could be tacked to your wall. For those who prefer the use of a tapestry rod, we can add the appropriate size loops to accommodate your needs.
