This unique hand-knotted wool carpet is characterized by its soft blue central medallion, which sits amidst a sea of soft red, and is anchored by ivory corner spandrels. The gently repeating floro-geometric motifs that run throughout the piece add harmony to the various colors and stylistic elements, making for a magnificent final piece. The central field is enclosed within a reciprocal outer border. Finely woven, with short wool pile and a supple feel.
