An antique Persian Lavar rug, size 6’5 H x 4'4" W, circa 1900. This fine handwoven oriental rug features a beautiful central medallion, encompassed by floral reserves in each corner. The primary border and guard borders reiterate and expand upon the floral motifs of the central field, creating a harmonious result of symmetry, curvilinearity, and beauty. Wool pile, with short nap, and tight construction. Excellent condition.
