17th Century French Religious Tapestry 

A period 17th Century French New Testament  Religious tapestry, horizontally oriented, size 6'6"H x 20'7"W.

This tapestry depicts the Crucifixion, with Jesus Christ and two other figures being Crucified by the Roman authorities, with the SPQR flag visible.

With weaver's mark and Aubusson town mark. Wool with silk inlay. In very good condition.

Part of a set of three interrelated tapestries, with items # 32303 - 32305.
