Our experience at Persian Gallery was excellent throughout the entire rug shopping and purchasing process. My husband and I compared the inventories of various rug stores in NYC and concluded that they were the best venue in which to find rugs we needed for our house and apartment. Before going to the showroom we had sent the item numbers of the rugs that interested us so that they had them ready for us to review. Rodney Hakim is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and aesthetics of these rugs and greatly facilitated our decision-making process. He also accommodated us in terms of delivery and rug pads. The purchase of a high quality Persian rug is similar to buying art and the purchaser needs to trust the vendor, and we always felt quite confident about conducting business with Rodney at the Persian Gallery. The excellence of their merchandise and the professionalism they demonstrated earned our trust.
